The University Settlement Immigrant Settlement Adaptation Program (ISAP) is offering a number of workshops this month for anyone looking to develop their career skills or just learn something new.

Acces Employment

This workshop (in Farsi) offers a look at Acces and its services, with a particular focus on the engineering career path. Acces helps job seekers of diverse backgrounds who are facing barriers or difficulty in finding employment. They provide employment services such as networking with the ultimate goal of helping job seekers integrate into the Canadian job market.

Who: Programs are open to any newcomers, refugees, and live-in caregivers with a valid work permit.

Starting a Trades Business in Canada

A look at apprenticeships in Canada, including what they are, how to get licensed in Canada, and some benefits and challenges of an apprentice.
