We are currently looking for a volunteer to provide piano accompaniment for the Children’s Choir in rehearsals and in performances. Student volunteers are preferred.

Qualifications:
– Minimum RCM level 7 piano – or equivalent
– Great sight-reading abilities
– Leadership skills

Assets:
– 2nd language
– Experience volunteering in a multi-cultural setting

Responsibilities:
– Learn all assigned music for rehearsals and concerts
– Attend all rehearsals and concerts
– Assist Children’s Choir teacher with the running of the class, where appropriate

Hours:
Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 5-6pm. September 9 to December 5, 2015; January 6 to March 11 and March 22 to June 18, 2016

This year’s Grange Festival was a blast!

Called “the most fun festival EVER” by one of this year’s first-time visitors, our annual Grange Festival was held on August 7th with over 4,000 community members in attendance. It was the most attended Grange Festival to date. The sunny day was perfect for playing games, watching performances, having fun with face paint, snapping a pic at the photo booth, and eating free hot dogs with family or friends.
