LINC students have enjoyed the warm days of late spring and early summer as they completed the first school year term (April 2016- March 2017). LINC will be off for the summer from June 27th to September  6th, 2016. Before the term ended, students participated in various events and field trips in Toronto and enjoyed being new Torontonians. Some of these excursions included seeing the cherry blossoms in High Park, participating in the New Comers Day Celebration at Nathan Phillip Square, taking a tour of Old City Hall, and a picnic on Centre Island.

During these trips students heard about the history, geography and heritage of Toronto, and began to feel more at home and fully Torontonians. This sense of pride has been captured on camera on various occasions:

Thank you to all of the LINC students for a great school term. We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer break exploring the city.
