LINC students had a productive fall term this year. The classes started on September 6th, 2016 and will end on December 16th for the holiday break. The new term will resume on January 3rd, 2017 and will run until March 30, 2017.
During this term, in addition to improving their language skills, LINC students learned about Canadian historical and cultural heritage through field trips and participated in national Canadian events, such as Remembrance Day in City Hall, celebration of Thanksgiving and other city events.
LINC students also learned about Canadian laws, citizenship, and city regulations through workshops and guest speakers. Celebration of Thanksgiving, Moon Festival, Halloween and Christmas has created a safe and supportive environment for students to socialize and make friends with their peers.
Thank you to our teachers and students for making this term such a great success. See you in the new year!
