Understanding Racism in Canada (Online Seminar)

Avvy Go – Clinic Director from the Chinese & Southeast Asian Legal Clinic

There has been a significant rise of incidents of Anti-Asian racism in Canada during this pandemic.

In addition, Anti-Indigenous racism and Anti-Black racism continue to be a serious systemic issue in Canada.

This workshop will explain the history of racism in Canada, what are the present day examples of Anti-Asian, Anti-Black and Anti-Indigenous racism, and what we can all do to address all forms of systemic racism.

This seminar will be conducted in Mandarin.
