Led by our HIGH FIVE™ trained staff, University Settlement’s AFTERSCHOOL@HOME programs offer age-appropriate, unique, fun experiences that nurture exploration, spark imagination, and provide opportunities for physical activity.
Our age-appropriate classes include:
Online via Zoom: All classes are offered via Zoom. Every week you will receive an email with a link to join the class. All you need is a device with video capabilities – such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop and a strong internet connection.
Subsidy Available: Between 30% to 70% subsidy for all programs is available to qualifying families. Please apply for a subsidy when you complete your online registration.
Ages 6-9 / Ages 10-14
Learn the fundamentals of acting, including improvisation, scene work, character work and more, all taught by a Theatre Arts educator. “All the world’s a stage” so see you at the (virtual) theatre!
Ages 4-5 / Ages 6-9 / Ages 10-14
Being active is more important than ever, and what better way to get active than with Dance! Your child will learn the fundamentals of dance and hone their skills by learning routines. We can’t wait to dance with you!
Ages 6-9 / Ages 10-14
Yoga and mindfulness tailored to your child’s age! In this class, we will work on physical skills like flexibility and balance by learning yoga flows and deep-breathing strategies.
Ages 6-9 / Ages 10-14
Join us as we learn Karate! Taught by an experienced Karate champion with a Black belt in Shito-Ryu Karate and over 10 years of coaching experience and 5 years of competitive experience.

We are thrilled to be offering Beginners and Intermediate classes with Ms. Li.
Parenting during COVID-19 presents a unique set of challenge. Our Parent Network will enable you to get advice, find support and have a listening ear.
