We will gather in front of our building (at the south end of the park) to distribute gloves and garbage bags. The City Parks department will also lend us a few rakes and some paper bags to clear up the dead leaves – this will make a big difference!
The rain date for the cleanup is Friday May 1st but let’s hope…
University Settlement facilities will be CLOSED for the Easter holiday on

Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, April 17th.
It is with great sadness that the University Settlement Volunteer team announces the passing of Michael Tse. Micheal, or Master Tse as many call him, was one of University Settlement’s Tai Chi instructors who volunteered his time for more than 20 years. He rose to the rank of Tai Chi Master quickly, teaching all who attended his early morning class. During his 20 year position he taught seniors from every walk of life the benefits of practicing tai-chi, inspiring community members and staff, alike.
Master Tse will be greatly missed. Please take a few minutes…
