We asked you, the public, to take part in our website survey at the beginning of April. We wanted to see what we are doing right, what you liked and what we could improve on. We want to thank all those who took the time to take the survey. The survey showed that the majority of those who browse our new website enjoy what they saw and that they found what they were looking for. In collaboration with Toronto Public Health, Consolidated Credit Counseling Service and St. Christopher House we invite you to join us for an exciting new interactive program at University Settlement. Our Moneywise Veggie Chef program combines safe food handling, healthy meal preparation and financial literacy. We help low-income or unemployed individuals to learn how to eat healthy and on a budget. This is a 12 week course where participants will also receive their Food Handler Certificate for free.

Our English Café is a weekly English conversation circle which allows participants to network, practice their English and become more confident. There are group discussions at all levels. No matter if you’re a beginner or if your English is more advanced – all are welcome! We discuss new topics every week and you’ll have a chance to express your opinion and share your stories.
