Immigrant Settlement Adaptation Program

The Immigrant Settlement Adaptation Program (ISAP) for newcomers is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Through ISAP we offer a wide range of services and programs.

These services include needs assessment, information and referral, settlement counseling, form filling, orientation and educational workshops, interpretation and translation, employment-related assistance, social networking activities for both adults and youth, festive celebrations, day trips, homework clubs, and conversation circles. Services and programs are available for newcomer adults and youth who are landed immigrants (with a Permanent Resident card), convention refugees and live-in caregivers holding a valid work permit. Our services are free and are offered in English, Farsi, Mandarin, Cantonese and Spanish.

• Day trips to Toronto attractions

• Tuesday English Café and Teatime chat
• Information sessions for internationally Trained Medical Doctors
• Income Tax clinic (February – April)
• Homework Club (October – June)

• Newcomer Orientation Workshop
• Employment Workshops
• Computer Training Workshops

Fees & Registration: Our programs are free of charge.
