Before you arrive, please familiarize yourself with the NEW steps we’re putting in place to help keep you and our staff safe. Please take a few minutes now to review the mandatory new health and safety protocols and processes for all University Settlement locations.
Your health and safety, and that of our staff is our top priority. It is everyone’s responsibility. We all need to work together to keep each other safe. University Settlement staff will be rigorously cleaning high touch surfaces frequently and sanitizing to meet the stringent Toronto Public Health and other government guidelines.
Please wait at the Front Desk for a staff member to check you in and complete the COVID-19 screening. You can complete your screening questionnaire online to speed up the process but you will still have to check-in.
Please stay home is you are not feeling well.
You must wear a mask or face covering in all indoor spaces, unless you are working out or taking woodwind or voice lessons. If you forget your mask or face covering, you can buy a disposable mask for $1 at the Front Desk.
Everyone must maintain a physical distance of 6 feet at all times. You will see signage and decals on the floors and walls to guide you and help you keep physical distance.
Hand sanitizing stations are available in the Lobby and Grange Fitness Centre. Please remember to wash your hands frequently.
Check the University Settlement website to stay up to date with any programming time changes and the new hours of operation at our Spadina Avenue and North York locations.
To limit possible COVID-19 exposure, we are not permitting family members (including parents) and friends to accompany a Member, client or student at appointments or lessons. Music & Arts School staff will accompany children to and from the Lobby. If required, a caregiver may accompany a disabled or elderly person in need.
We’re taking in a phased-in approach to reopening some of our activities.
We’ve also set limits on the number of participants permitted in any one class or session. All drop-in programs are suspended for now. The chart below will give you a snapshot of what’s available when we reopen.
We all need to be extra careful! Please help us implement these new steps to keep yourself, other members and our staff as safe as possible.
If you have any questions, please send us an email.
