We’re offering a variety of fitness classes that are based on improving your well-being. Whether you want to improve your fitness, strength, tone up, or de-stress, we can help you achieve your goals.

All Fitness Classes must be pre-booked. No drop-ins.

COVID-19 Screening and Mask Wearing

Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your swim. Everyone must complete COVID-19 symptom screening when they arrive. Mask wearing is mandatory in all public spaces but not in the pool.

Interval Training Class (Capacity 10, 6-feet distance)

If you’re looking for a high-intensity amazing workout that uses your whole body, this is the class for you. Burn calories and fat in a quick 45min workout. Come and bring your energy.

Strength Training (Capacity 10, 6-feet distance)

This overall body tone and cardio class can be modified to all levels from low to high intensity.

You’ll never need to miss a class! We’re offering Strength Training in-person Mondays and Fridays and online on Wednesdays! Come to Grange Fitness Centre or join us on Zoom to get a great workout.

Yoga(Capacity 20)

This combination of yoga and stretch will help your mind body and soul flow as one while strengthening and improving the general mobility of your body.

Online Fitness: Mind Body Soul

This workout blends tai chi, yoga, and flow stretch. It’s a great way to increase flexibility and range of motion in your muscles and joints. Make it low or high intensity. It’s up to you. Join us online and get a great workout!

Thursday: 9:30 am to 10:15 am
Fees: Included in Grange Fitness Centre membership

New Health & Safety Steps at the Grange Fitness Centre

Your health and safety, and that of our staff is our top priority. Please familiarize yourself with the mandatory health and safety measures at University Settlement.

  • Arrive early to allow for screening and check-in.
  • Wear a mask right up until you begin your workout or activity.
  • Pre-book your workout, game or activity.
  • Maintain physical distancing in the Locker Rooms.
  • Wash your hands before and after you work out. There is a hand sanitizer station in the Grange Fitness Centre.
  • Wipe equipment down before and after you use it. Disinfectant wipes and spray bottles and paper towels are available in the Grange Fitness Centre.
  • Don’t work out immediately next to someone. There are only two treadmills in service to allow physical distancing.
  • Bring any gear you need, including your own water bottle (filled).

To help keep you safe, we are limiting the number of participants for all programs and activities.

To access Recreation activities you must pre-book your workout using the PickTime scheduling portal. Click the button below and reserve your place.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to use the reservation you have made for a Fitness Class, please cancel it right away. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes. If you arrive later than 15 minutes, you will lose your priority and your spot will be given to another member.

With our new limited capacity, the Fitness Class may be totally booked up on PickTime but in reality there are often spaces available when people don’t show up. Please be considerate of your fellow members and cancel your reservation if you are unable to attend. Thank you.

Your Grange Fitness Membership

Fitness Membership billing will resume on September 15, 2021 and will cover the period of September 15 to October 14. If you had registered for the 6 Month Membership, we will extend your membership to include a full 6 months before we begin automatic monthly payments.

Locker Rooms

Locker Rooms are only available to people using the Pool or the Grange Fitness Centre.
