This series of beginner-friendly workshops introduces you the basics of urban sketching – the art of capturing buildings, streets, parks, and everyday scenes through quick, observational drawing. No experience is needed. This program is for older adults (ages 55 and over).

Curious about drawing the world around you? This series of beginner-friendly workshops introduces you the basics of urban sketching – the art of capturing buildings, streets, parks, and everyday scenes through quick, observational drawing. No experience is needed.

We’ll cover simple techniques for seeing shapes, using perspectives, and sketching using ink, pencil, or watercolour. All materials will be provided. This series of workshops will also prepare participants for our summer outdoor sketching sessions.

Open to all individuals aged 55+. Registration is required.
