Rebecca Hall is an accomplished piano teacher and musician who has taught for 20 years in the GTA. Her own musical journey began at the age of 5 years and continued into her adult life when she obtained a Diploma of Music Performance at Mohawk College followed by a Bachelor of Music at McMaster University. At McMaster University, she studied performance exclusively with accomplished classical pianist and festival adjudicator Pamela Van Weeldon.
An active member of the music community, she has performed at venues such as The Hamilton Art Gallery and The Living Arts Centre while also maintaining a steady presence at local music festivals, Peel and Kiwanis. In 2017, she was awarded the title of Advanced Piano Specialist through the Royal Conservatory of Music, teacher certification program which gave her a greater insight into the examination process including required preparation for success and examiner expectations.
As a teacher, her experience extends from teaching young beginners to adults for which she has prepared over 100 students for RCM exams ensuring each student reaches their maximum potential. She has a holistic approach to teaching, creating a connection with students individually in order to discover their unique learning style and needs. As a teacher, she prides herself in her ability to create a safe, supportive, nurturing environment where students feel enthusiastic about achieving their goals. A lifelong teacher and mentor, Rebecca has watched many students grow from beginners at the age of 7 years, to teenagers who still possess a love for music and piano.
