Our IN-PERSON Summer Day Camps for kids ages 6 to 12 are back!

Starting August 3, campers can enjoy Swimming activities in the University Settlement pool every afternoon. Our camps adhere to all Public Health guidelines. Activities will take place outdoors (weather permitting) and in our well-ventilated program rooms, if necessary.

Please note: Day camp programming is subject to change based on Public Health Guidance.

Daily Camp Swims

Starting August 3, campers will swim every afternoon! Each camp cohort has a staggered swim time to ensure swims are as safe as possible, and to prevent overlap in the changeroom. All swim times are supervised by certified Lifeguards and our Camp Staff.

Please note: Camp swims are fun swims and not swimming lessons. If your child cannot swim, they will wear a life jacket, stay in the shallow end, and have a counsellor swimming with them. In line with COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, there will be no showering before and after swimming.

Small Camp Cohorts

To ensure camp is as safe as possible, we’re keeping our cohorts small!

  • July 12 to July 30: Two cohorts of 10 campers each week.
  • August 3 to August 27: Two cohorts of 15 campers each week.

Our reduced child-to-staff ratio will help ensure that COVID-19 health and safety protocols are maintained.

Flexible Registration

Keeping your Child and Family Safe: COVID-19 Protocols

Your Child’s and Family’s Health is our Top Priority. Here are some of the COVID-19 safety enhancements we’ve added to our camp day to keep everyone as safe as possible.

  • Daily screening: All staff, parents/guardians and campers will be screened prior to camp sign-in and sign-out
  • Face Masks: All campers and staff must wear a face mask at camp
  • Extra cleaning and sanitizing protocols will take place throughout the day
  • Physical Distancing: All activities are planned to ensure a minimum 6ft distance is maintained between campers at all times.
  • Outdoor programming: Weather permitting, all our camp activities will take place outside in the park. When necessary, programming will also take place in our well-ventilated program rooms.
  • Detailed safety plan: You will receive a detailed COVID-19 safety plan in our Parent Handbook, which will be sent to you prior to the start of camp.
