Biography

Carmen Kwok graduated from the Music Department of Hong Kong Baptist University (BA), majoring in violin and music education. Studied under the guidance of Ray Tsoi. During the course of her studies, she served as a violinist and violist in the HKBU Symphony Orchestra and Collegium Musicum Hong Kong, respectively.

Carmen has a deep passion for music education, with over ten years of teaching experience. She excels in communicating with students, helping them discover and nurture their innate musical potential. Her students consistently achieve outstanding results in both individual and group classes. Over the years, her students have received numerous awards in various exams and competitions, and some have pursued music degree programs locally and abroad. In terms of group classes, she led Sacred Heart Canossian School and Grantham College of Education Past Students’ Association Whampoa Primary School to win the gold medal in the chamber music ensemble category at the 2023 Joint Schools Music Competition.

Her teaching philosophy is tailored instruction, treating each student uniquely. Her goal is to foster a genuine love for music in her students and provide them with meaningful experiences and achievements in their musical journey.
