Seniors Active Living Fair
Seniors Active Living Fair is an annual public education initiative developed in partnership between Older Adult Centres’ Association of Ontario (OACAO) and Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility (MSAA). The goal is to increase awareness about available services and programs for seniors in the community.
University Settlement is pleased to be partnering with OACAO this year to host the fair in-person for all members of the community. The fair features several non-profit and government agencies, including Alzheimer Society Toronto, Service Canada, Toronto Fire Services, Hospice Toronto, Assaulted Women’s Helpline (Seniors Safety Line), Chinese Family Services of Ontario, and many more. There are also presentations happening throughout the fair, where all attendees can sit, relax, and listen to information and programs related to senior’s health and safety.
