We asked you, the public, to take part in our website survey at the beginning of April. We wanted to see what we are doing right, what you liked and what we could improve on. We want to thank all those who took the time to take the survey. The survey showed that the majority of those who browse our new website enjoy what they saw and that they found what they were looking for. In collaboration with Toronto Public Health, Consolidated Credit Counseling Service and St. Christopher House we invite you to join us for an exciting new interactive program at University Settlement. Our Moneywise Veggie Chef program combines safe food handling, healthy meal preparation and financial literacy. We help low-income or unemployed individuals to learn how to eat healthy and on a budget. This is a 12 week course where participants will also receive their Food Handler Certificate for free.

University Settlement Summer Camp 2013

Young Leaders Camp

  • Full day, 9 am to 4:30 pm, two-week camp
  • $150 per session includes daily lunch and trips
  • Maximum of 8 youth accepted for each session
  • Subsidies are available for those who qualify
  • Participants must have completed Grade 8

All Youth Leaders completing the two week program will have the opportunity to volunteer. Volunteer hours can be used to meet community involvement requirements set by the school boards.

Your children may be eligible to attend an eight day overnight camp with great food, canoeing, camp fires, swimming and many other outdoor activities while gaining a life time of memories.

Who is eligible for Camp Moorelands?

  • Applicants must live in the City of Toronto and be ages 8- 14 (must be completed grade 3)

Do you want an opportunity to have your work featured on an annual report for a nonprofit Agency? If so, then submit your artwork to the We Are Looking For An Artist art competition hosted by University Settlement. The competition is being held to celebrate 2012 achievements in our Annual Report and submissions will be accepted until Friday April 26th, 2013. The contest is open to everyone!
