Grange Festival 2026
The Grange Festival is Toronto’s oldest and most beloved outdoor festival. This year marks our 85th year!
The Grange Festival has brought together thousands of families, newcomers, seniors, youth, residents, and local organizations for an outdoor fair, fun day of free food, family-friendly performances and children’s activities to celebrate our rich cultural heritage in the heart of downtown Toronto.

- Admission: FREE! Everyone is welcome.
What to Expect
- Explore community tables from over 25 organizations working in the downtown Toronto area
- Experience performances by local artists (dance, music, among others) representing the rich cultural mosaic of our community, including performances of University Settlement’s Music & Arts School, and from its Seniors Programs
- Enjoy free games, activities, and food – hot dogs, ice cream, snow cones, popcorn and cotton candy for everyone!
- Over 4500 attendees
- The event will take place rain or shine

Book A Table
The Grange Festival provides a great opportunity for our partners to connect with the local community.
We provide an 8-foot table and 2 chairs. You are free to set up your own tents.
Besides providing information about your organization, kindly bring simple and engaging activities for the children attending the event. Organizations have been creative over the years, offering games, face painting, arts and crafts, prizes, stickers, candy, and much more.
Non-Profit Organizations
We encourage non-profit organizations to book a table at the festival as a community partner to showcase their programs, services, projects, and initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity to engage with the community, raise awareness about your organization, and build relationships with potential volunteers, beneficiaries, and stakeholders.

- Stop by University Settlement’s table to get a punch card
- Get one punch for each activity you participate in (games, food, face painting). Ice cream truck and hot dogs will not be considered for this purpose.
- Once you get 10 punches, stop by University Settlement’s booth again. Spin the wheel and win a prize!

Consent: By entering the Event premises, you grant University Settlement and its affiliates, employees, agents, and partners the irrevocable right and permission to capture, record, and use your likeness, image, voice, and appearance in all forms of media, for the purposes of promoting and documenting the Event, without any expectation of compensation or remuneration.
Release and Waiver: You release University Settlement and its representatives from any liability or claims arising out of the use of your likeness, image, voice, or appearance in the media, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of rights.
Media Usage: You understand and agree that the media captured may be used for various promotional and educational purposes, including but not limited to printed materials, websites, social media, press releases, advertisements, reports, and presentations.
Ownership: You acknowledge that all rights, title, and interest in the media captured, including any copyrights, shall be the sole property of University Settlement and its assigns.
Voluntary Participation: Your participation in the Event is voluntary, and your consent to be photographed or recorded is given willingly without any coercion.
Revocation: You acknowledge that you may revoke this consent in writing at any time. However, any media used prior to the revocation will remain unaffected.
Minors: If you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor entering the premises, your consent on behalf of the minor is assumed by allowing the minor to enter.
By entering the Event premises, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this notice and that you agree to its terms and conditions. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let the photographer know.

Calling All Camps!
Summer camps are welcome to join the Grange Festival for a day of fun. We will have free food (hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn, ice cream), free games and prizes, and free performances that will delight all children.
There will be plenty to do. No boredom allowed! Please make sure children are always supervised.


History of the Grange Festival
Since its inception in 1935, the Grange Festival has been a cornerstone of the University Settlement’s commitment to fostering community cohesion and celebrating diversity. Originating as the Spring Festival and evolving into the Grange Festival, this event has been a platform for showcasing music, drama, and neighborhood parades.
In its inaugural year, thousands of spectators gathered in Grange Park to witness the vibrant display of national dances, ranging from Ukrainian to Chinese, Danish to Canadian square dances. Over the past years, the Grange Festival has grown in scale and significance, becoming a beloved tradition cherished by residents and visitors alike.
