Due to repairs, the gymnasium is currently closed. Basketball will be paused during this time. Basketball will resume when the gymnasium re-opens on Monday, January 9th.

Drop-in Basketball is back at University Settlement (review heading structure)
We are so excited to welcome back our drop-in basketball programs at University Settlement! For ages 13 and up, our Get Active Downtown: Basketball provides a place for everyone to play, sharpen their skills, and engage in a little friendly competition.

For ages 13 to 24, our Youth Basketball program is designed teach fundamental movement and basic basketball skills while developing physical literacy in youths. For ages 13 and up, our Settlement Basketball program provides a place for everyone to play, sharpen their skills, and engage in a little friendly competition.
Settlement Basketball (Ages 13 and up)
Compete in our Settlement Basketball program to show us your skills, sharpen your sense of the game, and play against other players! You can come as a team or meet new friends and compete together. All basketball games will be supervised by our Program Lead and refereed by other players.

Saturdays: 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Get Active Downtown: Basketball
The Get Active Downtown Basketball program consists of both training and game play for youths giving them the opportunity to work on individual skills, in-game concepts, as well as game play in a controlled, refereed, and score kept league.
This program is designed for young athletes who want to improve their game and have a blast! Perfect for all skill levels, from beginners who want to learn the game to high-performance athletes who are ready to take it to the next level.
Summer Schedule
- Tuesdays: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
- Thursdays: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Sundays: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Settlement Basketball (Ages 13 and Up)

Don’t forget to bring any gear you need, including your own water bottle.
Fitness Membership and Day Pass Fees
Our monthly Fitness Membership includes access to the Grange Fitness Centre, Basketball, Table Tennis, the Swimming Pool, free Aquatics Programs, and Fitness Classes. Day passes are also available for purchase.
