Event Details

  • Date: Thursday, December 4, 2025
  • Time: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Location: Gymnasium at University Settlement (23 Grange Road, M5T 1C3)
  • Open to children 3 to 12 years old (a parent/guardian or chaperone older than 16 years is required to attend)
  • Free! Register by Sunday, November 23.

Additional Details

  • Elevator access is available
  • Both gendered and non-gendered washrooms are available
  • Kids registered in our Afterschool Program on Thursdays do not need to register for the event
  • Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian/chaperone during the event
  • TTC stations nearby: Osgoode and St Patrick
  • Stroller parking area: We have limited space available; please fold your stroller if possible; depending on the volume of strollers, you may be requested to leave it outside of the building
  • Limited parking spots available: If you are driving, please give priority to the parking spots in the surrounding areas.
  • No E-Bikes/Bikes Indoors: E-bikes and bicycles are not permitted inside the building (including lobbies, hallways, studios). Please use outdoor racks.

Event Schedule

  • 4:00 PM: Snack time! Each child will receive a snack.
  • 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM: Craft time! The crafts are unique designs made with the support of some of the top design firms across Toronto
  • 6:00 PM: Gym closes. The gym will be closed by 6:00 PM. It will be your responsibility to supervise your children.

Registration for Families

Would like to bring your children to attend the event? Hurry and secure your spot! Registration closes November 23. Registrations received after November 23 will not be accepted.

You will receive a confirmation email after November 25 with further instructions.

Does your organization run a program for children and would like your group to attend?

Please fill out the Group Registration Form by November 24. Kindly wait for a confirmation email before making any plans or arrangements.

Event Photo Consent

University Settlement, December 4, 2025

By entering and participating in the Event, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the use of your likeness, image, voice, and appearance in photographs, videos, audio recordings, and other forms of media captured during the Event.

Consent: By entering the Event premises, you grant University Settlement and its affiliates, employees, agents, and partners the irrevocable right and permission to capture, record, and use your likeness, image, voice, and appearance in all forms of media, for the purposes of promoting and documenting the Event, without any expectation of compensation or remuneration.

Release and Waiver: You release University Settlement and its representatives from any liability or claims arising out of the use of your likeness, image, voice, or appearance in the media, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of rights.

Media Usage: You understand and agree that the media captured may be used for various promotional and educational purposes, including but not limited to printed materials, websites, social media, press releases, advertisements, reports, and presentations.

Ownership: You acknowledge that all rights, title, and interest in the media captured, including any copyrights, shall be the sole property of University Settlement and its assigns.

Voluntary Participation: Your participation in the Event is voluntary, and your consent to be photographed or recorded is given willingly without any coercion.

Revocation: You acknowledge that you may revoke this consent in writing at any time. However, any media used prior to the revocation will remain unaffected.

Minors: If you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor entering the premises, your consent on behalf of the minor is assumed by allowing the minor to enter.

By entering the Event premises, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this notice and that you agree to its terms and conditions. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let the photographer know.
