Language Training Programs
Our language training programs and workshops are free for newcomers who are Permanent Residents, Convention Refugees, or Live-in Caregivers with a work permit.
LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada)
Our virtual classroom is easily accessible from your computer and the comfort of your home. We offer classes ranging from Literacy to Advanced Level 6. All classes are taught by experienced qualified TESL and PBLA trained instructors.
While you’re learning, you’ll be discussing topics of interest such as health and wellness, financial literacy, arts and music, the Canadian legal system, digital literacy, cross cultural knowledge, and you’ll celebrate multi-cultural holidays.

Conversation in English (Online Workshop)
Join a small group of fellow students and work with professional Canadian tutors as you practice speaking in English. You’ll improve your speaking and listening skills and build your confidence in this weekly program.

Writing in English (Online Workshop)
In small group sessions, led by professional tutors, you’ll improve your English writing ability.
In addition to reading articles and short stories, you will share what you have read, write paragraphs on a variety of topics, all the while practicing the use of words and phrases to express your ideas. Weekly assignments will enable you to practice your writing skills.
