Spring 2024 Afterschool Activities
Our Children’s Programs are now offering Afterschool Activity options Mondays and Fridays. The program runs from 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm for students 4 to 6 years old and 7 to 10 years old.
If the kids blitz through the activity, we finish everyday with multi-sport in our gym. Join us for a fun activates!

Monday Arts & Crafts
Bring home a new creation every Monday. In our Arts and Crafts afterschool activities we have all the supplies needed so that your little one can use their hands and minds to make something wonderful. Our HIGH-FIVE certified leaders seek to foster creativity in art and critical thinking in building.

Friday Homework Club (Ages 7 to 12)
We know that after a long week of school homework piles up. Our HIGH-FIVE certified leaders are ready to help you build mastery in all subjects. Homework club is perfect for getting your work out of the way, so that your weekends can be reserved for play. All done? Perfect! We know that physical movement is just as important as homework, so we finish every day off by stretching our legs and having fun doing multisport in our gym.

Friday Paint Club (Ages 4 to 6)
Kids love to paint but dealing with the clean up at home is a lot. At University Settlement we have child-friendly paints, easy-to-handle brushes, and endless encouragement. Our HIGH-FIVE certified leaders are there to let your children express themselves and further the kids’ artistic abilities one painting at a time.
We recommend wearing disposable clothes with backup in case of accident.

Kid’s Multi-sports
Introducing our dynamic Kids Multi-sports Program for ages 4 to 6, where little athletes embark on an exciting journey through the world of sports diversity! In this action-packed program, children will discover the fundamentals of movement and be introduced to sports such as basketball, volleyball, hockey, baseball, soccer, and badminton, providing a well-rounded introduction to various sports disciplines.
Our HIGH-FIVE certified leaders create a nurturing environment that fosters teamwork, coordination, and motor skill development, ensuring each child enjoys the thrill of multiple sports in a fun and engaging setting. Through age-appropriate activities and playful drills, our little sports enthusiasts build confidence and a love for an active lifestyle, setting the foundation for a lifetime of sports enjoyment and camaraderie.

Welcome to “Little Artists’ Cartoon Club,” a delightful and colorful adventure designed especially for our youngest artists aged 4 to 6! In this engaging children’s activity, little hands will explore the magic of drawing and cartooning in a fun and encouraging environment.
Led by our friendly HIGH-FIVE certified facilitators, children will embark on a journey of imagination as they create simple and whimsical drawings. From adorable animals to charming characters, each activity is tailored to capture the wonder and creativity of our little artists. With age-appropriate materials like chunky crayons, washable markers, and big, colorful paper, “Little Artists’ Cartoon Club” ensures a mess-free and enjoyable experience.

Guided by our experienced chefs, children explore simple recipes, learn basic kitchen skills, and engage in age-appropriate cooking activities. From mixing and measuring to decorating delightful treats, each session is designed to nurture a love for food and the creative process.
The Little Chef’s Program not only introduces young chefs to the kitchen but also promotes teamwork, sensory exploration, and the joy of sharing delicious creations. Join us for a tasty journey where every child becomes a culinary artist, discovering the magic of cooking and baking!
Included in the program fee is a non-refundable $20.00 fee to assist in covering costs for cooking materials.
