Biography

Cassie is a pianist and piano instructor based in Toronto with experience teaching privately since 2018.

Born in Singapore, she began her music education with Trinity College London at the age of 2 and graduated from the Royal Conservatory (RCM) (First Class Honours) with her Associate Diploma in Performance in 2017.

She has since dedicated her time to teaching both in-studio and in-home and is currently enrolled in music studies at the University of Toronto.

Cassie is comfortable with students of all ages and any level of experience. She uses an adaptive method of teaching which caters to each student’s unique strengths and weaknesses. She has experience teaching students with learning disabilities such as attention deficit disorder and dyslexia. Cassie is passionate about making music education accessible to students of all backgrounds.

Cassie has prepared students for RCM practical and theory exams and is familiar with the RCM, ABRSM and Trinity curricula. She welcomes students who aim to pursue conservatory studies, perform competitively, or simply have a love for music.
